Ancient Amber Bear

An amber bear amulet is a juicy relic of prehistory. At least 3,000 years old, it once hung from the neck of the person who wore it. A Polish bog preserved it for thousands of years until it was discovered in the late 19th century. It now has its home in the Szczecin National Museum.

You can imagine the care that went into the carving and how nice it may feel to grasp in the hand for luck or protection.
